About

SPRING BREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAK!!!

Join Austin Parks Foundation and Austin Parks and Recreation Urban Forestry Division to plant trees at Covington Middle School in South Austin! Parks and Recreation's Urban Forestry Division plants trees strategically in parks and schools across Austin. Trees go a long way to improving the experience and health of a park, and we need your help caring for them!

Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared to dig in the dirt! APF will provide tools, gloves, snacks, and water - PLEASE BRING A REUSABLE WATERBOTTLE TO REDUCE WASTE. PARD Urban Forestry will lend their guidance and expertise to ensure a successful planting. Volunteers will receive a Spring It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artist Mila Sketch!

We look forward to increasing our urban canopy with your help! We will meet at the parking lot east of the school by the track. Keep an eye out for the official APF truck, see the map for a visual: https://goo.gl/maps/MdDMwLe1GUL2
