Gimme some LOVE !

We have a BEAUTIFUL section of Williamson Creek that needs some serious L-O-V-E !  This event will kick off Public Green & Wild's 30 Days of Lovin' the Creek, where people are challenged to do something, anything, big or small, every day for 30 days to show LOVE for the creek.  Could you imagine the impact of that one month on our creek ?

Details:
We will meet at the Emerald Wood Community Garden (S 1st & Emerald Wood). Half of the volunteers will go upstream (about 1/4 mile) and half will go downstream to the next bridge, picking up trash, recycling and hauling out flood debris from the flotsam islands.  This is a kid friendly and great event for groups looking for a service project.  We will have gloves, water and some snacks. Please bring your reusable water bottle. Potluck is encouraged (not required) since we span lunch time.
