Center for Arkansas Legal Services Internship - Spring 2020
Help increase access to justice by doing legal research, drafting pleadings, and assisting the Center for Arkansas Legal Services with other tasks in civil cases. The Center handles housing, family law, consumer protection, public benefits, re-entry, and some immigration matters for low-income community members. There are opportunities to observe court in nearby counties for students who are able to travel.
Time and location: This opportunity is for Spring 2020. Flexible schedule and most work can be done remotely. The opportunity is based in the Center's Fort Smith office. A time commitment of 2-4 hours a week is ideal.
Eligibility: All interested students are welcome to apply. Rule XV certification and prior experience are not required.
