About

Join ServeUGA for Interfaith Day of Service on Saturday, March 30th!

Didn't have time to register before? You can sign-up at Check In! Come to Tate Theater from 8:00-8:30 tomorrow to serve with us!

Interfaith Day of Service breaks down barriers by encouraging collaborative service that facilitates open discussions about the motives, belief systems (secular or faith-based), and backgrounds that drive us to serve.

Sites volunteers will be serving with include Project Safe, Nuci's Space, Athens Area Homeless Shelter, and more. Please Note: In intentional efforts to create religiously and spiritually diverse groups, we will be assigning volunteers to sites for this event, but if you have a preference for an indoor versus an outdoor site, you can indicate that when you register online for the event. Registration will be at the Tate Theater in Tate Student Center Check-in will begin at 8:00am and will be followed by a program with guest speakers starting at 8:30am. We will depart campus by 9:00am and service projects will start by 9:30am at the latest. Participants will serve at their assigned sites for about 2 hours and should be back on campus around 12:00pm.

Transportation is provided, but volunteers are also welcome to carpool. A light snack is provided in the morning, but eating breakfast beforehand is encouraged.
