Make new friends and be one with the environment as we walk the banks along Onion Creek in Richard Moya Park picking up debris and trash. The park is pretty with the historic Congress bridge perched in the horizon. It also allows for community members to run along the existing trails and the children to play I the well maintained playscapes. Our efforts in keeping the park well maintained will contribute to its attraction as an outdoor spot for family gatherings and community interaction.
Volunteers should come prepared to work outside on uneven terrain. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or wet. Closed toed shoes are required and long pants are recommended. We also do not provide water bottles so please bring a full reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
