OPEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Williams School Park greenifying!

Saturday, April 6th, 2019 from 9:00am to 12:00pm (CT)

About

Join your friends, neighbors and fellow park-lovers as we give back at Williams School Park!

Parks and Recreation's Urban Forestry Division plants trees strategically in parks and schools across Austin. Trees go a long way to improving the experience and health of a park, and we need your help caring for them! They recently planted trees at the park and we need to mulch them! We will also be doing some weeding and planting in the school garden.

We will provide tools, gloves, music and fresh, cold drinking water - PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE, in order to reduce waste. We will also provide KIND bars for snacks!

We look forward to having y'all out at Williams! We will meet at the track just west of the school. Keep an eye out for the official APF truck, see the map for a visual.
