Texas Baseball Gameday Sustainability 4/26 - Texas Athletics Sustainability Squad Zero Waste Weekend

Friday, April 26th, 2019 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm (CT)

About

Texas Athletics bleeds orange and lives green! We need volunteers to help us monitor recycling and compost bins making sure people are disposing their items correctly. Responsibilities include educating fans about recycling and composting, monitoring recycling and compost bins and sorting through trash/ recyclables when needed. This game is during Zero Waste Weekend, so you will truly make a great representation of Texas Athletics Sustainability!

Volunteers will be given free T-shirts as well as gloves to utilize during the shift. Water will be provided, but please eat before the game. Meet up location, specific times, and further instructions will be provided in a reminder email a couple days before the event.

This is a wonderful opportunity to earn service hours, support the "Bleed Orange, Live Green" initiative and support your team/university! With your help we can achieve our zero waste goal!
