Description

It's time once again to celebrate Austin's short fiction scene at the AUSTIN SHORT SHORT FICTION FESTIVAL #4! Join us at the Elisabet Ney Museum on March 30th to observe a dozen local authors as they read their best short short fiction pieces (<1000 words) aloud! There will also be food trucks and other family-friendly activities, literary booths and more!

If you would like to volunteer at this event, you can sign up for one of these shifts: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm. We will primarily need help setting up art activities and overseeing the museum gallery.

Requirements
There is a waiver and sign in sheet that volunteers will fill out upon arrival.
PerksVolunteers will have an opportunity to engage with local artists and organizations. There will also be snacks and beverages provided for all participants.
Parking DetailsVolunteers will receive a pass so they can leave their car in the Fresh Plus parking lot at the corner of Ave H and 43rd St. There will also be plenty of available street parking.
