The Volunteer Development Specialist role will primarily entail management of direct service volunteers who serve as our primary change agents by supporting the core of our program as mentors and tutors.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Learning data-entry and administration for RE's Salesforce Customer Relationship Management database for volunteer management

Coordinating volunteer schedules including changes

Overseeing management of volunteer documentation (application, online orientation, etc.)

Serving as liaison between volunteers and RE staff and providing appropriate feedback

Serving as point of contact for daily communication and recommendation requests

Ensuring adherence of volunteers to sign-in and sign-out procedures

Coordinating volunteer appreciation activities and acknowledgment of service initiatives

Engaging with students as a mentor, tutor and role model
