After a rainy spring and humid summer, it'll be time to get back to our normal volunteer workdays at Pease. Thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who helped get the park back in order following the Memorial Day floods, Pease is looking proper for use throughout the summer. Join us on Saturday, September 5th from 9:00 to Noon for our first post-summer workday (UT Football doesn't play until 6:30 that evening). We will meet near the picnic tables at 1100 Kingsbury. Pease Park Conservancy will provide snacks, refreshments, and t-shirts for all the generous volunteers. Please wear clothes that can get a little dirty and close-toed shoes. We will provide all the tools and gloves needed for the day. We will be working on the mulched trails, weeding the flowerbeds, and making sure the trail is in top-shape for users. We'll have tasks for folks of all ages!
