While our community continues to increase efforts to better identify and serve the homeless, the number of people experiencing homelessness grew 52% from 2015 – 2018 (RMPBS). The issue remains in the headlines: Initiative 300 was defeated in the May Municipal elections in Denver; the Centennial City Council voted in July to set a ban on urban camping; the Denver Day Works program provides low-barrier employment for people experiencing homelessness.
