Description
Bridging the Gap (BTG) is a transformative program that fundamentally changes the lives of the young people who were once in the child welfare system.  Throughout the week, youth will participate in activities to enhance their abilities to both obtain a job and strive to keep one. They will prepare a resume, learn interview skills, workplace essentials, and then practice their learned skills. Volunteers are invited to share their own experiences with youth and we encourage you to engage the participants with continuous questions.  Members of our BTG staff will be available throughout the week to offer additional support.
Requirement Details
Some opportunities require presentations to be created by the volunteer. Please review all descriptions carefully.
Parking DetailsVolunteers can park in the lot behind our building. If the lot is full, there is free street parking on either side of the building and a pay lot ($5 all-day) on the West side of Park Avenue.
