About

Please join us for our 27th Annual Day of Caring on Friday, September 10th.

Day of Caring is the largest single-day volunteer event in Boulder and Broomfield counties. It is an opportunity for local volunteers to go out, give back, and make a positive impact in our community. Day of Caring reflects one of Mile High United Way's core values: that we are better together and, united, we can achieve our vision of future in which all people can achieve their full potential.

Day of Caring includes volunteer projects hosted at nonprofits across the region. We welcome corporate groups, community and civic groups, and individuals 18 and up to participate in volunteer projects. Projects consist of a variety of in-person and virtual activities.

Celebration: All volunteers, agencies, and companies are invited to the celebration after Day of Caring at The Rayback Collective, 2775 Valmont Road, Boulder, CO 80304, from 1:00-3:00 PM.

T-Shirts: All volunteers, virtual and in-person, will be able to order a free Day of Caring t-shirt. T-Shirt pick up will be in-person on August 31st from 9:00 a.m. - Noon at Broomfield Fish (6 Garden Ctr, Broomfield, CO  80020). If you cannot pick up your t-shirt at this time, you can instead pick up from Mile High United Way, 711 Park Ave West Denver, CO 80205, between September 1st and September 9th.

For questions or to make your reservation for a Day of Caring project, please email Yael Holzman at Yael.Holzman@unitedwaydenver.org

For companies or groups making a group reservation at an in-person project, the Mile High United Way volunteer team will send you specific instructions on how to track your volunteers' t-shirt sizes and celebration RSVP list.

For indivduals, the volunteer team will send you the link to order your t-shirt online.
