Navarro High School Rain Garden Building Day

Saturday, March 7th, 2020 from 9:00am to 12:00pm (CT)

Come out with Austin Youth River Watch to build a rain garden at Navarro High School!

Join Austin Youth River Watch and the Navarro High School Green Teens, along with community partners from HDR, the Environmental & Water Resource Institute, and City of Austin Watershed Protection, in building a rain garden on the campus of Navarro High School (formerly Lanier High School).

Please bring your own shovel if you have one, and your own gloves if you prefer. Tools and gloves will be available for those who do not have their own.
Please bring a water bottle, and wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

A few of the Navarro High School Green Teens will also be making delicious lemonade slushies for $2 each to raise funds for their school club, so bring a few bucks if you'd like to enjoy a treat after some hard work outside!

We'll meet at project site behind the main school building, and we recommend that you carpool, bike, or use public transportation if possible.
