Mentor - Imara Roose, Inc

Open Opportunity

About

All volunteers must successfully complete a background check in accordance with Prince George’s County Public Schools’ policy. Weekly meetings take place at Eleanor Roosevelt High School (ERHS) in Greenbelt MD, Mondays and/or Thursdays, 3:30 PM-4:45 PM. Additionally, mentors meet with their mentee one-on-one, and participate in a community service activity, once a month. Sister socials take place twice per semester. Volunteers are responsible for arranging their transportation to and from all meetings and events-carpool maybe available. As long as ERHS remains virtual, Imara Roose programming will follow suit-we’ll shift back to in-person once our mentees return to school.
