About

Volunteers will be working in the Habitat for Humanity ReStore (Donation store). The ReStore sells new and gently used home improvement products, furniture, housewares, building materials, and DIY materials . The ReStore fully supports the operational cost of Habitat for Humanity Washington County, AR.

Our ReStore Manager is looking for both experienced volunteers and those who want to learn new skills while giving back to the community. We know your time is valuable and appreciate all who come out to help at the ReStore. Often you will be working side-by-side with our future homeowners!

 Volunteers will be helping our staff:

·         Process Donations

·         Customer Service

·         Helping Manage Inventory

·         Organize Displays

·         Light Cleaning

·         Refurbish and Repair Donating

·         Organize Warehouse 

·         Light Clerical Work

·         Dock Assistant

Please check your messages prior to your volunteer date. Information will be sent via direct message on GivePulse prior to your volunteer date for orientation information.  Please park further away from the ReStore entrance to ensure our customers have parking closer to the store.

Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes and comfortable, modest clothing. Face masks are required to be worn at all times. Temperature checks are done prior to volunteering as well.

Upon arrival, volunteer is required to fill out our COVID-19 Volunteer Screening and Volunteer Waiver of Disease Exposure Liability form prior to volunteering at our facility. See below for questions:
Have you or anyone you’ve been in contact with tested positive for the COVID-19 virus?    If yes, when?

Has anyone in your household had contact with someone who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus? 
If yes, when?

 In the past 14 days, have you or anyone in your household had any of these symptoms?        
·         Fever greater than 100.4°F, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, and/or Cough

 In the last 14 days, have you or anyone in your household shown any other symptoms of an illness?  

In the last 14 days, have you traveled outside of Arkansas?       

 In the last 14 days, have you been to an event where more than 50 people were in attendance?

Requirement Details
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
