About

YWCA needs your help!

We provide various critical services to the El Paso community and that includes our Transitional Living Center . The Sara McKnight Transitional Living Center (TLC), a residential shelter for homeless women and their children, opened its doors in 1993. The TLC offers a supportive living environment and intensive case management to help women experiencing homelessness make the transition to independent living. The facility serves women and their children and our case management program helps residents progress toward a self-sufficiency plan.

This is a great opportunity for individuals that want to serve their community and fulfill any community service requirements!

Weekend shifts include: 8-12 and/or 12-4 and be reoccurring.

Some opportunities may require moderate lifting. Please reach out to Veronica Harkness to learn more and sign up as a YWCA volunteer! 915-519-0000 ext. 1103 or at v.harkness@ywcaelpaso.org
