About

Located on-site at the Regional Food Bank, volunteers prepare and pack fresh, healthy meals for the Regional Food Bank's Food for Kids Programs and Food for Seniors Programs. 

Hope's Kitchen is a cool room kept at 55 degrees to ensure food safety. Please dress accordingly.

Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to volunteer in Hope's Kitchen. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult

All volunteers under age 18 must have a signed Parental Consent Form. Please review our FAQs to learn more.

**Volunteer groups and individuals that are 30 minutes late to the volunteer shift start time will be unable to volunteer.**

When uploading your volunteers into your reservation, if you have minors without email addresses, please contact volunteer@rfbo.org so we can remove the email requirement.

Requirement Details
We are so excited to have you volunteer in Hope's Kitchen! Below are a few requirements for you to review before your volunteer shift: 

All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for safety precautions. Individuals wearing flip flops, sandals or any shoes where toes are exposed will be unable to volunteer.

If you’re under the age of 18, you will need to complete a Parental Consent Form and provide to the volunteer coordinator who checks you in.

The Regional Food Bank is a tobacco-free facility and smoking, dipping, chewing of tobacco or the use of vapor devices is only permitted in a private vehicle.

This volunteer opportunity is kept at 55 degrees. Please dress accordingly.
