Festival Beach Food Forest: Fall Planting Party!

A Fall Planting and Path Party! Join us for a morning of planting and nourishing the Festival Beach Food Forest ecosystem. Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists! We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE and wear work appropriate clothing. We'll meet at 29 Waller St., to the right of the fenced community garden if you're coming from the street (street parking on Waller), and get started right at 9 am. Festival Beach Food Forest is a public, edible food forest, completely open to the public and completely volunteer-run. Join us in completing projects such as cleaning up and refreshing pathways, spreading mulch and compost, fall plantings (cover crops, wildflower seed spreading, etc), and more! We will have snacks and drinks provided during the workday.
