MLK Day at Bull Creek - History and Ecology walk

Join Sylvia Pope, Watershed Protection Dept. hydrogeologist, for a hike along Bull Creek.  We’ll look at the unique environmental features, including springs and canyon rimrock, and talk about the history and ecology of Bull Creek.  This will be a family friendly event but will require hiking along terrain that is uneven and slippery.

Requirement Details
What to wear: Knee high boots or shoes that can be worn in the water and have sturdy soles to grip wet, slippery rock.
What to bring: water, sunscreen, poison ivy removal lotion.
Notification: In the event of heavy rain (>2” in 24 hours) or freezing weather, the event will be cancelled. Registered participants will be notified.
