Beverly S. Sheffield Northwest District Park Love Fest

Join fellow park and creek lovers at Beverly S. Sheffield Northwest District Park for our bi-annual park love fest. Our tasks include repainting cement picnic tables, our beloved playscape turtle, and cleaning up beautiful Shoal Creek in the park and beyond. Paint, pickup tools, trash bags, gloves, water, and snacks are available; PLEASE BRING YOUR WATER BOTTLE and tools you find helpful, like rakes or paint rollers and paint trays. Wear long sleeves and pants that can get dirty, paint splash, and help protect against poison ivy in the creek. Meet at the tennis court/pond side of the park for a 9 AM start. Volunteers will split into two groups; one group will pull out trash/debris from the creek, and others will help repaint picnic tables and the turtle. Thanks for joining us again on It's My Park Day to spread some love on our park! Of course, you will receive an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists, day-of treats from local businesses, and the satisfaction of giving back to our park!
