About

Volunteers are needed to help us with a family friendly event that will celebrate the arrival of two new sculptures by Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei in Austin!

Volunteers will help with event set-up,/breakdown, placing tables, chairs and supplies. You will also assist with hands on art making activities.

About the event;
There will be refreshments and art activities for all ages while viewers check out the mesmerizing installation Forever Bicycles, at the Waller Delta, 74 Trinity Street near the Boathouse. This work is presented as part of The Contemporary Austin’s ongoing collaboration with Waller Creek Conservancy and the Museum Without Walls program.

Ai Weiwei’s Iron Tree Trunk is also on view at The Contemporary’s Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria.
