Description

Want to share your passion for Austin, educate others on issues of affordable housing and gentrification, or bring the history of East Austin alive? Want to learn more about President Lyndon B Johnson's legacy, local Tejano musicians, or the community members of our past that helped shape Austin history? As a Volunteer Docent for the Tejano Trails project, you can serve as an ambassador to thousands of visitors in our city every year!

The Tejano Trails offers monthly tours led by Volunteer Docents. The program is open to anyone interested in becoming a docent, a chaperone or simply learning more about our community.

For more info on the Volunteer Docents and Training, please contact TejanoTrails@austintexas.gov or 512.974.3728.
