The Colorado River Foundation is a small non profit entity dedicated to education and awareness of the Texas Colorado River. Interns and volunteers play an integral role in the functioning of our organization.

Marketing interns assist with all forms of communications and promotion including posting Colorado River Alliance events on-line via community calendars, contributing to monthly e-newsletter and e-blasts, maintaining calendar updates on our website, maintaining media lists, community calendars and press kits, composing and distributing media advisories & press releases for newsworthy programs happenings and events, maintaining our social media presence on Facebook and Twitter, and researching potential blog topics.

Qualifications: Strong writing and editing skills, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, careful attention to detail. Familiarity with e-newsletter and listserv using Mail Chimp and website management with WordPress preferable.

CRF has one internship available for Fall 2014. Internships are unpaid but are available for academic credit. Interns are expected to commit at least 15 hours a week. Being such a small organization, interns get to take on significant roles and responsibilities that look impressive on a resume.
