The SWK Youth Mentoring program serves youth ages 10-17 who are either involved in or at high risk of being involved in the juvenile probation system. Our goal is to match a caring adult to a young person to introduce positive people, places and experiences and prevent the involvement in the juvenile probation system. Ideal volunteer youth mentors must be able to commit to 4 hours a month for 6 months to 1 year, have reliable transportation, pass a criminal background check, and have proof of current drivers license and vehicle insurance. You don't have to be perfect to be the perfect mentor! If interested, please contact Melody Cantu at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to apply.
