Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Community Service Volunteering Event

Monday, January 21st, 2019 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm (ET)

About

Our Warehouse is open to BSU Students who wish to make volunteering a part of their MLK Day plans. We will have volunteer opportunities for all levels of physical activity, from sitting to standing. Your impact will reach thousands of people in our 8 county service area and help individuals and families fill the meal gap that exists for those who face food insecurity.

All volunteers must wear closed toed shoes, sign in, and fill out a 2019 Waiver upon arrival. If you are new to Second Harvest, we will be giving tours every hour and have light refreshment available to our volunteers this day. Please note our warehouse is filled with different types of food products and may not be a good fit for individuals who suffer from extreme food allergies.

If you are wanting to come as a group, please call (765) 287-8698 ext 105, to make reservations.
