CASA of the Fox Cities, Appleton, WI

CASA of the Fox Cities, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, is dedicated to training volunteers who are assigned by judges to monitor abused and neglected children. Volunteers meet with these children weekly and provide reports monthly to the court. Judges then will use those reports to determine what is in the best interests of these vulnerable children. Our volunteers are the voice these children so desperately need within our court system.

You do not have to be a lawyer or social worker to be a volunteer.  We welcome people from all walks of life.  We are simply looking for people who care about children and have common sense.  As a volunteer, you will be thoroughly trained and well supported by professional staff to help you through each case.

You must pass a background check, participate in a 30-hours pre-service training course, and agree to stay with a case until it is closed (a year and a half on average).
