The showcase presentaton that was the most impactful for me was Ward 8 presentation. In this presentation I learned about how people are living in unhygienic housing due to low cost in DC, and some rich businessmen are trying to buy these houses for the cheapest price and drive this people away. And big businesess such as Amazon are constructing their new headquater in Virginia which is very closeby, and once Amazon is settled, it will lead to more job opportunities and prices will go up and these houses value will go up and poor people will have nowhere to go. This impacted me the most because I was always thinking of buying houses for the cheapest in the future, renovate it and sell it to make profit, but now I realized that when I do make decisions like this I should check that my businesses doesn't hurt anyone.

Question 1: The showcase presentation that most impactful for me was an NGO called Yes She Can.This was especially impactful because this organization was dedicated to empower women by offering resume and cover letter workshops to women who do not have the resources to be successful. It was similar to what we learn in FYDP and I thought it was impactful that someone was taking this idea and using it in a way to help others.

This was most impactful to me because it showed me a new perspective of community engagement, one that never would have occurred to me before.
2) I attended the discussion led by the two seniors that each talked about what they have developed at their time at GW.
