North County Community Food Bank

About

Creating a community where no one goes hungry is the overarching mission of the NCCFoodBank.   To accomplish this we provide nutritious food items for those in need, in addition to providing basic life skills education and training to assist each client rebuild their lives. North County Community Food Bank serves the rural communities of North Clark County Washington, initially beginning as a grassroots community group in 1980. The organization provides nutritious food to those struggling with inter-generational poverty and hunger. In addition, NCCFoodBank provides basic life skills educational programs which range from financial planning and management, job skills, to healthy cooking for life for adults and youth.  Additionally we partner with a local organic farm to offer our Seed to Supper courses, teaching clients how to plant and grow their own fresh vegetables. The organization focuses on providing wrap-around services which address each of our clients individual needs and circumstances, to help them be successful in their journey of rebuilding their lives.
