Signed classes in
Don't have an option for this in the drop down list- I attended Fun with Chemistry at Forest Trail Elementary school with Dr. Biberdorf (chem proff). It was an event for kids to experience science.
I love Barnes and Noble so volunteering in their tent went great. It would get a little boring at times because I had to stand and prevent people from entering the tent the wrong way.
Volunteering at the Contemporary Austin allowed me to see some interesting presentations about photographs and art. I really liked the discussion on the black and white photographs that were taken across numerous locations around the globe.
I really loved the Texas Book Festival. I was able to help out at the author signing tent where Margaret Atwood and Lemony Snicket were signing books. It was a wonderful experience and I would totally do it again.
"Being a Capital Building Event Monitor was quite fun! The two presentations that I presided over were very interesting."
Organized event with other members of the Clean Up/Service Committee (Jessica, Jamie..) went with kids to graffiti park, picked up trash, pictures will be posted!
Volunteering at the Barnes & Noble Tent was extremely tough but very rewarding.
I was able to help at the merchandise tent during this event. It was an amazing experience as I saw people of all ages excited to meet their favorite author and excited to buy books.
I enjoyed volunteering in the Merchandise Tent. Other volunteers at the tent and the visitors were friendly.
This was REALLY fun and I am definitely going to do this again next year!
