Working with the Girl Scouts was a very new experience for me. Growing up outside of the US, I never actually interacted with the Girl Scouts (though I heard a lot about their work and their cookies). This opportunity to help them sell their cookies was truly enjoyable because I got to see some very strong young women working on their development. I could see how our assistance helped them get more sales than they would otherwise have because the Kappa Delta sisters did a really good job at drawing in friends and strangers towards the cookie booth. Overall, it was a very rewarding way to spend a few hours of my Sunday, and I really hope the Girl Scouts enjoyed our company and managed to make a lot of sales on our campus! After all, we did run out of Thin Mints.
