This was an amazing and fulfilling experience. It felt so good to see all of the little kids get excited when they got to choose their books to take home, it gave me a lot of motivation and made me feel really happy that there are still kids who still care a lot about their education. It was also really nice to see how much the children's parents cared about their children's education.

I helped in the survey and raffle station. I asked people if they wanted to take a survey about the event, and I also answered any questions the families had in regard to the survey. By far, this event has been one of the best communit Service events that I've had the opportunity to participate in.

Good time, huge impact on the community. Opened my eyes to some needs in Austin.

This was my third year. I was assigned to the help with the exit surveys. Unfortunately there were not enough volunteers for the afternoon shift and there were only two of us. I didn't feel my work contributed to the event as much as past years.

Hi Lulu -

I'm sorry you didn't feel like you contributed as much during Feria Para Aprender. We've never had so many surveys completed in such a short period of time.

The surveys are actually a HUGE contribution that impacts the development of Feria Para Aprender over the following year. We use the survey to report our progress to our sponsors, identify new trends to address in future events, and measure our long-term impact. We really appreciate the great work the IBM volunteers did to collect so many surveys and we hope you see the impact of your work in future events.

Thank you!
