Over the break, I was able to give back and work with a local church to provide Thanksgiving lunch for individuals in my hometown community. (Dover, Ar). I was able to serve and hear the stories of many people. I work alongside my family and other community members to prepare, cook and serve a homecooked meal on this holiday. I really enjoyed seeing the simple joys of their faces when we served them turkey and all the side, they were truly grateful. I will be doing this next year, great experience.
I assisted with other volunteers for the midterm election. I was responsible for assisting in the community members to make their voting experience easier and move more efficiently and smoothly.
I loved working with the children and helping out at this church! I would love to get involved more with them!
I really enjoyed working with the 7th and 8th graders at a local junior high school in our community. I helped 3 girls with their homework and answered any questions about college, life, and sorority life. All of them said they wanted to join a sorority and come to the University. Overall, I thought it was a really fun, different experience that I got to take apart in. I would definitely volunteer there again.
I wrapped presents for 5 hours in Rogers with Kaitlyn for this military support group.
