It was great learning how to be a greeter. Helping people as they come in and helping them find the pet for them, makes me so happy. Just hearing some of the stories on why they're there looking for (another) pet, hurts me but then I remember that they are there to help another dog or cat know they're loved.

Volunteer Opportunities at Forgotten Friends - Mix Breed Rescue

It was an amazing experience to help find animals homes. I really did like interacting with both the dogs and the people, I wanted to take all the dogs home with me and seeing the little kids faces when they would see and pet the dogs was so heart warming. Those animals have been through a lot and some of their past you wouldn't even believe, they all deserve a good caring home.

Volunteer Information Session

I'm really excited to be getting involved, the orientation went very well. I loved that we got to see where all the different animals were being held, I can't wait to get started.
