I am not a morning person, especially to wake up at 4AM, but that early morning amounted to a great experience. Society as a whole, including me, have always overlooked and even pitied the homeless. However, I learned that the homeless people that I talked to are no different than me. They are kind, sociable, and understanding. Their stories are not only interesting, but was also important for me to realize the privileges I was born with. I am far more grateful and more aware of a silent and hidden population of our city.

Harrison gave to UT Farm Stand
Elizabeth, a member of the UT Farm Stand, said it best: we are an organization that provides sustainable and local produce which can not only promote healthier living, but also delicious and fun food experiences. I am glad to contribute to their organization, as they are doing great things.
