This job came to us thru word of mouth. Address was 728 Northwestern Ave, Austin 78702. We TNR'd all 4 cats in this little colony, plus we took in one more from down the street that turned out to be a lost cat. It was scanned, a chip found & it was returned to its orig home.

Community Cats volunteers meeting w/ Adrienne.
This job was in the Salvation Army parking lot at 8801 B Research Blvd. (I was not able to find it among the above listings. Jenn took the job & I was the sidekick, so it may not have come thru Community Cats.) One of the cats escaped from the drop trap & we were told by some nearby residents that they see a LOT of cats there. Jenn was told there were 4. So, it's not over, as were hoping it would be. planning to go back, but not sure when. We got 3 for the MM that evening.
This was an attempt to TNR the last 5 of the colony of 30 or more at 1803 Belford Dr. We caught 5 in all, but only 2 were untipped. Mr Carey, as always, was a real sweetheart. He loves these cats & is always ready to help us in any way he can. After the holidays we'll plan our next attempt.
Our "clients", Tiffany & Kirby, made this a real dream job! Their love & feeling of responsibility for these cats is truly inspiring. We couldn't have gotten all 7 trapped trapped in such short order without their participation. Tiffany is an aspiring trapper herself, & I hope we can partner in the near future!
I'm not seeing the exact location or job notification in the above listing, but it's in NW Austin. I assisted the primary trapper for just one evening. While I was thrilled to tag along & help as best I could, we didn't get any cats.
This job was brought to my attention thru word of mouth, not AAC Community Cats. The couple is wonderful & will continue to care for the cats after TNR. 4 out of the 5 they requested help with have been TNR'd. The fifth is a female they suspected has a young litter, so we will be returning in a few weeks to be sure that kittens will be self-sufficient while mom has her "spa day".
