Cardinal Nights was super fun! So many guests came out to celebrate. I assisted with set-up and also was in charge of the refreshments table. I helped set up check-in tables, candy tables, and constructed signs and decorations for tables. Overall, I had lots of fun giving the community a place to relax and enjoy the various activities.

The first Cardinal Nights of the year had such a great turn out! My job was to interact with students that were waiting in line for entry or the activities. There were so many students that came out and I was elated to be a part of this!
I attended the Self Defense Class in the Wellness Center with Inferno Martial Arts. Coach Christopher and Coach Nate were the instructors. We learned how to de-stress situations before defending ourselves. We learned how to properly strike our attacker and stay on our toes as well. I have taken a Women's Self Defense course here with UAPD and I must say that it was interesting to see the different teaching techniques.
This event could not have been held at any perfect time other than this one! I had been stressing about an exam that was occurring right after this event. I was able to stop by, have a donut and was able to de-stress before taking my exam. I also chatted with other honors students which took my mind off of the stressing. So glad to have this event! It really helped. Elise is also a sweetheart.
I volunteered for Path Interview Weekend. I served on the panel for Path & Wisdom. During Path & Wisdom, I answered questions about campus life, schoolwork, and miscellaneous questions about the U of A. Afterwards, I interacted with students during lunch and got to know students interested in the Walton College of Business and College of Engineering, both of which I’ve had experience in. I also assisted with clean up. I put away chairs and went threw boxes to dispose and recycle them accordingly. A few students hung around to ask questions about the University and I happily spoke to them about it!
This was the last cardinal nights of the year! Super bittersweet! I helped with the food table & set up. I love working with this program!
