Today, we worked on learning how to revise his own writing and what to look for when doing so. We then worked on multiplication and making sure that he was able to answer them as quickly as possible.
Today I worked with Graydon on word problems that involved addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. With that he was able to break down problems.
Today, we worked on multiplication and division problems while competing against each other.
Today I worked with Logan on both reading and math. He wanted to read his book, so allowed him to read for 20 uninterrupted minutes and then we did a passage. We then switch gears and did a bunch of addition problems.
Today we worked on Claim, Evidence and Reasoning Practice. I assigned him a reading that came with multiple choice and then we wrote a CER paragraph based on the text that he read. I broke down what each of them were and assigned him some work to do at home.
I worked with Graydon on Multiplication problems in order to build his quickness with answering questions with harder multiplication in It .
Today was my last session with Graydon and Logan. With Logan, we worked on different variations of subtraction and addition, there were some difficulties with subtraction, but we spoke those out loud. With Graydon, we worked specifically on finding the multiples of specific numbers after hand multiplying the numbers.
