This event was very fun for me; it hardly felt like service hours, at all! I was able to further my relationships with individuals on campus by working together as a team during the powder puff football games. All money that was raised went to support the homeless veterans of Northwest Arkansas, and that makes me even happier to be able to say I participated in this philanthropic event.

This 2018 fall semester I have been a notetaker in my Honors Sociology class with Professor Brandon Jackson. By committing my time, energy, and attention to this class, I was able to provide notes to students who have a variety of disabilities that could keep them from succeeding in their education. However, by partnering with the Center of Educational Access, I helped to ensure that all students are given the same opportunities to successfully pursue their college degrees, regardless of any disabilities, challenges, or limitations.
The girls that I cleaned up with were very friendly and easy to work with. The tasks were not difficult at all, and I enjoyed giving time to Kappa and doing something as simple as cleaning up to help out the house and my sisters!
