It was great spending time with women from other companies who share the same passion of learning about our community and what impacts United Way continues to make. The guest speaker, Jennifer Walker, with the Crisis Center, did an amazing job walking us through to help educate us on Domestic Violence. She was a very engaging presenter and appreciate her not just sticking to the facts but blending it well with education and sharing personal (ahh ha) moments in her career.

This has been my second year volunteering at this event. It is a very impactful event and I will look to continue to share about this event with friends and colleagues as it is well organized and a great opportunity to serve under-resourced families. I look forward to bringing my young daughter next year to start a family tradition as I work toward teaching her about compassion and emotional intelligence.
