We helped with the National Girls and Women in Sports Day held at GW in the Lerner Health and Wellness center. We brought equipment to use in a gymnastics circuit and to helped teach the girls about the benefits and importance of staying active through sports such as gymnastics.
We adopted a family for give-a-gift and sorted and wrapped gifts for the families.
Grassroots- it was our last session and we went over pressures to have sex and did a game called "high risk, low risk, no risk" in relations to risks associated with HIV transmission.
On 11/17 we helped set up the gym in the Smith center for 2 hours, and on 11/18 we helped tear down the gym in the Smith center for 2 hours.
We had our Chantilly exhibition and talked to the team girls about staying positive and about nutrition. We also talked about resilience and hard work. There were about 75 parents and gymnasts there.

We went as a team to the store and got supplies and food for 5 baskets for Colonial Harvest. Then we put the baskets together and brought them to Smith!
