Balcones Park - Balcones Rejuvenation

Please help rejuvenate Balcones Park - with a little help, we can help the park recover from recent trail and sewer construction projects, urban runoff and invasive species!  Here's what we have planned:

1) Trash Cleanup throughout park and greenbelt to Mopac. 

2) Remove the remaining rocks from creekside trail - This is a committment we made as part of the Creekside Trail repair grant which will restore an existing trail along the creek.

3) Landscape the pool area - we have a great plan to transform the landscaping by the pool , also part of the Creekside Trail repair grant.  

4) Planted tree maintenance - weed, mulch remove t-posts that have fallen, etc. 

5) Gravel cleanup at playscape - kid friendly project

6) rebuild berms and repair erosion of trail between pool and Duval
