Balcones Park Beautification

Are you ready for the best It's My Park Day ever?!?

We're going to get a ton of work done this year. Come out to Balcones Park and help us with:

- General Clean-up & Trash Pick-up in park and trail 

- Replacing Wildflower Signs 

- Leveling edges of Basketball Court & seeding 

- Repairing & Painting Horseshoe pits near parking lot

- Creating a Washer's Pit 

- Paint benches & picnic tables in park 

- Painting select walls of bathroom entry 

- Berm area that is eroding near Bathrooms

- Mulch bermed area, flower beds and as many trees as possible 

- Create stone border around bike racks where vegetation will not grow 

- Recover gravel that has escaped the playscape area - this is a very kid friendly activity, bring a bucket and trowel or small shovel!
