It's time to reseed the Meadowview Triangle Pocket Park in the Highland neighborhood with wildflower seeds! This park is known for its bluebonnets and other beautiful wildflowers in the springtime, lasting into early summer. Unfortunately, due to crowding out by aggressive plant species and the recent February polar vortex storm, the desirable wildflowers have dwindled significantly to almost nothing. Thankfully, the City of Austin mowed the thatch just in time for a fall reseeding of wildflowers at the loved Meadowview Triangle Park!

Hello neighbors! Just a reminder that we are reseeding the Meadowview Triangle Park with bluebonnet seeds tomorrow, starting at 11am. Please meet at the picnic table on the Northeast side of the park. We have a special treat of kolaches for volunteers and there will be water available too. Feel free to bring your own water bottle to be refilled, there will be cups available too. I will be bringing various rakes and gloves, but feel free to bring your own tools and gloves as needed. Remember to dress appropriately, the weather looks beautiful but sunny and could get warm! I have everyone's Park Day t-shirts and will give those out tomorrow too.
